    \frac{3}{7}\cdot 56=n

to multiply them together rewrite 56 as a fraction over 1

    \frac{3}{7}\cdot \frac{56}{1}=n

    \frac{3 \cdot 56}{7 \cdot 1}=n

    \overbrace{\frac{3 \cdot \not {56}}{\not 7 \cdot 1}}^{8}=n

    3 \cdot 8=24=n
