    solving equations involving inequalities

    l 4-3x l=x

    |4-3x|=x

    If you have an equation with a modulus sign like this, if you square both sides then you'll find both the two values of x that will solve it

    so

    (4-3x)^2=x^2

    and then expand and solve to find x
