1. This is somewhat simple.

I wrote it out for you, but the way to find $\displaystyle \frac{a^2}{a^4}$ would be saying $\displaystyle a^{(2-4)}$.

2. For this one, remember the rule $\displaystyle a^2\cdot a^3=a^{(2+3)}$

$\displaystyle \left(2ab^2\right)\left(-3a^2\right)\left(4ab\right)\left(-b^2\right)$

$\displaystyle 2ab^2\cdot-3a^2\cdot4ab\cdot -b^2$

$\displaystyle -6a^3b^2\cdot4ab\cdot -b^2$

$\displaystyle -24a^4b^3\cdot -b^2$

$\displaystyle 24a^4b^5$

$\displaystyle 24b^5a^4$

You could do it that way, but I prefer to do it this way.

$\displaystyle 2ab^2\cdot-3a^2\cdot4ab\cdot -b^2$

$\displaystyle \left(2\cdot-3\cdot4\cdot-1\right) \left(a\cdot a^2\cdot a\right) \left(b^2\cdot b\cdot b^2\right)$

$\displaystyle 24 a^4 b^5$

$\displaystyle 24 b^5a^4$
