    Unhappy Help! Algebra problem!

    How do you solve this problem:
    x^3 - 3x + 4 / x - 2


    I got -2 + x^3 - 3x

    I have no idea if thats how you do it...

    It's not clear what the problem is. Is it:

    \frac{ x^3 - 3x + 4}{x - 2}

    or

    x^3 - 3x + \frac{4}{ x - 2}?
