How can this be simplified further.. i cant seem to get it! (The root 466 in particular)

[ x + 4/15 - (root of 466)/15 ]

thanks

$\sqrt{466}$

Divide 466 into factors the best you can. Start by dividing it by 2...

$\sqrt{233*2}$

233 isn't divisible by any even number, and it isn't divisible by 3 since 200 isn't divisible by 3.

It definitely isn't divisible by 5 (230, 235, 240 are).

Is it divisible by 7? 70*3 = 210, 233 - 210 = 23 which is not divisible by 7.

How about 9? 9*20 = 180, 233 - 180 = 53 which is not divisible by 9.

11? 11*20 = 220, 13 not divisible by 11....

13? 13*10 = 130, 233- 130 = 103, 13*5 = 65, 103 - 65 = 38 which isn't divisible by 13

17? 17 squared is greater than 233, so 17 would have to be multiplied by something less than it to equal 233. We tried all lesser possibilities. It doesn't simplify from here..

$\sqrt{466}$

Find the LCD of the equation. It turns out to be 15.

$\frac{15x+4-\sqrt{466}}{15}$
