this is a fairly simple algebra question I will try and explain as best as possible.
6m7 =4m+2
now what we need to do is to find m. I will provide a way to do this.
6m = 4m+2+7 now remember since we take the 7 to the other side we must change the sign.
6m=4m+9 just addition with the 2 and 7.
so now we need to bring the 4 to the other side.
6m4m=9
now we subtract 4 from 6.
2m = 9
now we must reverse the sign as you should note that 2m means 2 x m
so it becomes
m= 9/2 9
