How to find the discount price,
How to change a decimal to a fraction,
Write equivalent fractions with like denominators,
Find out the unit rate,
Find the sale price (e.g. $24.75-20% off) Write a ratio in 3 ways Order fractions (improper, proper and mixed numbers) Calculate the percent of fractions If I dont get help Im DOOMED!!!!! :( • Jun 4th 2006, 05:24 PM Quick Answers You should really try to figure this out by yourself, but anyway: amount discount =$\displaystyle b \cdot d \displaystyle b $=beginning price$\displaystyle d $=percent discount (in decimal form) decimal to fraction: example:$\displaystyle 0.5=\frac{5}{10}=\frac{1}{2} $or$\displaystyle 0.25=\frac{25}{100}=\frac{1}{4} $equivalent fractions with like denominators: turn the decimal into a fraction and don't simplify. price after discount =$\displaystyle b \cdot (1-d) \displaystyle b $=beginning price$\displaystyle d \$=percent discount (in decimal form)

Ratios can be written in three ways:

1:2
1/2
1 per 2 (1 for every 2)

Ordering fractions: this stuff is too easy for me to help on, PAY ATTENTION IN CLASS!!!!!

to find the percent of a fraction make the denominator of the fraction 100 and the numerator becomes the percent.
