HELP! I'm new and I need help with factorisation :(

I'm finding this topic quite difficult, and have homework in for tomorrow relating to it and was wondering if you could help?
I've figured some out, but some seem to be a bit trickier than others, so I was just wondering if you could make sure that the ones I have already done are correct, and the ones I haven't done, help me a little?
This section is about expanding brackets and these are the ones I have done so far:

    (x+4)(x+2) = x+6x+8
    (p+3)(p+4) = p+7x+12
    (d-2)(d+5) = d+3d-10
    (f-2)(f-6) = f-8f+12
And I need help with these:
    (x+2) = ?
    (2x+3)(x-2) = ?
    (3y+2)(2y-3)= ?

The next section is about factorisation and I don't understand it at all, so all help is greatly appreciated :

    5ab+2b = ?
    4pq+q = ?
    7ty+10y = ?
    3xz+5xz = ?
    11ab-7bc = ?
    p+3p = ?
    2x+xy = ?
    4p+6pq = ?

If you can guide me towards the answers, or even give me answers.. it's all appreciated. thanks!

    Hello,

    All the previous are correct

    (x+2) = ?
    (x+2)=(x+2)(x+2)

    There is a general formula : (a+b)=a+2ab+b

    (2x+3)(x-2) = ?
    (3y+2)(2y-3)= ?
I don't understand how you could do the previous ones and why you can't do these oO

    In general :
    (a+b)(c+d)=a(c+d) + b(c+d) = ac+ad+bc+bd

For the first one for example :
    (2x+3)(x-2)=2x(x-2)+3(x-2)=2x-4x+3x-6=2x-x-6.

Now, try to do the second one.

The next section is about factorisation and I don't understand it at all, so all help is greatly appreciated :
When you go to factorise, always look for a common factor.

If you have ab+cb, then the factorisation will be b(a+c)

    5ab+2b = ?
    4pq+q = ?
    7ty+10y = ?
    3xz+5xz = ?
    = 3(xz)+5x(xz)

    11ab-7bc = ?
    p+3p = ?
    p+3p=p*p+3p

    2x+xy = ?
    4p+6pq = ?
    The same as above

means that you multiply twice the same number.
