This is extremely confusing. How many eggs are in each basket? Or are we to figure out how many eggs in how many baskets? (I'm getting that it can't be done unless I'm misunderstanding something.)

It took me 2 or 3 minutes... It's not so difficult people !!
You have to count all the eggs and then sum with the center eggs. You will get a number. Then you multiply this number with its antecedents, like:
x * (x-1) * (x-2) * (x-3) * (x - (x-1))

Ex: 10 * 9 * 8 * 7 * 6 * 5 * 4 * 3 * 2 * 1

With the result, you multiply with 1024 and then you'll find the answer.

Tip: the number is veeeeeeery big. Try to use the MS Windows Calculator (WINDOWS + R -> 'calc')
I suppose it has 25 numbers.
