    Problem

    Hello

    I just saw this on wikipedia.

    1= 0*a = (1-1)*a = 1*a-1*a = a-a= 0

    What is done here that is wrong or "forbidden". This cant be correct ?

    thank you

    You really have to ask? The stuff in red is utter garbage. And from garbage comes more garbage.

    The first step presupposes that there is a number "a" such that 1 = 0*a. Since this is not possible, the rest is not valid.
