The operator will be called Op

If a Op b = 3 + ab for all real numbers a and b, then 2 Op (1 Op 3)

You can't possibly mean that.
Start with (1 Op 3).

No. Say that X=3 + 1*3
The 2 Op X =?

Uh, so you mean taking 2 Operators times X?

I solved it, thx for your help!

Now I get what they´re saying, at first I did NOT interpret the question right so to speak..

I took 2 Op (3 + 1*3), that gave me -> 3 + 2(3 + 3) = 15
