    Unhappy Help with solving Linear Equation

    Solve the following linear equation for m

    4-(m-6) = 2m-8
    3

    that is (m-6) over 3,

    Please help me solve this and show the working out~

    Multiply through by 3:

    12 - (m - 6) = 3(2m - 8).

    Expand. Simplify.
