3/7 (p + 4) = -6 what does "p" equal
Is the first question and:
4(a - 3/8) = -7/2 what does "a" equal?
is the 2nd question.
I would REALLY appreciate it if you could help.
Hi.
So we have an equation like this
3/7 (p + 4) = -6
First, we are going to use the reciprocal of 3/7 to get rid of that exponent,
Multiply both sides by 7/3
(7/3)(3/7)(p+4)=-6(7/3)
which yields
p+4=-2(7)=-14
Finally add -4 to both sides
p+4-4=-14-4
p=-18
