now we're left with:

now to get rid of the "1/3", you would take the "x^(1/3)" and raise it to the power of 3, and of course, you want to do that to both sides, so now we get:
(x^1/3)^3=7^3
the 1/3 and the 3 cancel each other out so now we have:
x=7^3
and just solve 7^3 so:
x=343.

that's your answer.
