Rearranging Equations

Help me, please.

I have a worksheet from school with a series of questions about rearranging equations. I can do most of the questions, but there are a few I am struggling with. Ie

2a+1 = 5a-2/2

2 + (3w+2)/4 = (2w+1)/2

etc.

Yes I know I'm really stupid and you're meant to learn it in eighth grade, nenene. But can someone help me out? And show working please, that's the part I'm struggling with? (Crying)

For problem one, Simplify fractions first, you get 2a + 1 = 2.5a - 1
a = 4

Plug in each side of the equation into the boxes.

Problem #2: simplifying, it is 2 + 0.75w + 0.5 = w + 1/2
Grouping like terms = 2.5 + 0.75w = w + 0.5
Plug these in on the same link I gave you to get:
w=8
