    b. 3 = 6y

    c. 5 = 7y

    Hello, LisaAnn_86!

    I assume that these are exponential statements.

    Convert the following equations into logarithmic form:

    a)\;\; 9 \:= \:4^x
    You're expected to know the conversion:

    . . N \:=\:b^x\quad\Longleftrightarrow\quad \log_b(N) \:=\:x

    Therefore: . 9 \:=\:4^x\quad\Rightarrow\quad \log_4(9) \:=\:x

    b)\;\;3 \:= \:6^y
    3 \:=\:6^y\quad\Rightarrow\quad \log_6(3) \:=\:y

    . . . . . Get it?
