    Algebraic Fraction

    Simplify..

    (a + 1)^3 / a^3 + 1

    Hi there,

    On the top I have a^3 + 3a^2 + 3a + 1 and on the bottom I have a^3 + 1, I am not sure where to go from here.

    Factorise the denominator using the sum of two cubes formula. Then cancel out the common factor in the numerator and denominator.
