    matrics algebra

    Can someone help me with these math problems?

    1. use the following matrix
    x= [1 2 3 4]
    [4 -1 -2 0]
    [6 1 5 -3]
    what is a 2,3 equal?
    a. -2
    b. 1
    c. -1
    d. 5

    2. use the following matrix
    x= [1 2 3 4]
    [4 -1 -2 0]
    [6 1 5 -3]
    what is a 3,1 equal?
    a. 3
    b. 1
    c. 6
    d. -2

    any help that you can give me would be very much appreciated.

    a_{j,k} is the entry in the in the jth row and the kth column of the rectangular display.

    Notation for matrices goes in this order:

    1) Rows
    2) Columns

    Hence:

    a_{i,j} \Rightarrow a_{r=i,c=j}
