    Solve for R

    Solve for R when \theta = .9948\;rad

    R = \frac{\pi}{\theta - \frac{sin\;2\;\theta}{2}}

    R = \frac{\pi}{\theta - \frac{2sin\;\theta\;cos\;\theta}{2}}

    R = \frac{\pi}{.9948 - \frac{2sin\;.9948\;cos\;.9948}{2}}

    R = \frac{\pi}{.9948 - .4568}

    R = 5.84

    Is this correct?

    Yes but you are making a real mean of it.

    R = \frac{\pi}{0.9984 - \frac{\sin(1.9896)}{2}}
