Thread: Division - easy help =]

I have this homework bunch of divisions but I cant do some of them.. I want to do them by myself but i dont know the way to divide I need a pattern or something like that?

Are you familiar with your multiplication tables? Are you doing long division? One easy way to look at division is that it is reverse multiplication. Taking 8 as and example of a base we can look at its tables ...

8x1=8
8x2=16
8x3=24
8x4=32
8x5=40
8x6=48
8x7=56
8x8=64
8x9=72

So looking at this table 16 divided by 8 is 2.

64 divided by 8 is 8 and so on and so forth. Apply your multiplication tables like this to get a good feel of things. This is of course simple division. If you need more help post some of your problems

I need harder stuff mate like long division as you said it
but i need like a way to do it
