Are you familiar with your multiplication tables? Are you doing long division? One easy way to look at division is that it is reverse multiplication. Taking 8 as and example of a base we can look at its tables ...
8x1=8
8x2=16
8x3=24
8x4=32
8x5=40
8x6=48
8x7=56
8x8=64
8x9=72
So looking at this table 16 divided by 8 is 2.
64 divided by 8 is 8 and so on and so forth. Apply your multiplication tables like this to get a good feel of things. This is of course simple division. If you need more help post some of your problems
