Turning a percent to a fraction
If I have the percent of 66.667 and I want to change this to a fraction how do I do it. I know that the fraction should reduce to 2/3.

What I get is change 66.667 to a decimal = .66667 then I count the spaces and put the number over that number of spaces. So I get 66667/100000 I cannot get this to reduce to 2/3. How can I shpw this is two thirds?

66.667 is a rounded approaximate answer. The original exact value was obviously 66 and 2/3. Note that 66 and 2/3 is the same as 200/3:

66 + 2/3 = (198/3) + (2/3) = 200/3.

To convert a percentage to a fraction, divide by 100.

200/3 divided by 100 is equal to 2/3.
