[SOLVED] Solving Expressions .. Help!
A simple expression i'm having trouble with because I have forgotten some basic rules to math.

"Find the exact value for each of the following expressions"

Sin(Pi/4)-Cos(Pi/6)+tan(Pi/3)

= sqrt2/2 - sqrt3/2 + sqrt3

This is where i'm stuck because I forget if you can multiply each term to have a common denominator. I ended up with:

sqrt2 + sqrt3 / 2

Help?

So far you are correct:

$\frac{\sqrt{2}}{2} - \frac{\sqrt{3}}{2} + \sqrt{3}$

and then:

$\frac{\sqrt{2}}{2} - \frac{\sqrt{3}}{2} + \sqrt{3} = \frac{\sqrt{2}}{2} - \frac{\sqrt{3}}{2} + \frac{2 \sqrt{3}}{2} = \frac{\sqrt{2}-\sqrt{3}+2\sqrt{3}}{2} = \frac{\sqrt{2} + \sqrt{3}}{2}$
