    Need to know the steps to solve this!

    If you take the square root of the square root of x, and it = xa ​, what does a equal?

    $\sqrt{\sqrt{x^a}} = \left(\left(x^a\right)^{1/2}\right)^{1/2} = \left(x^a\right)^{1/4} = x^{a/4}$
