Smile Help please - otherwise I will need to go back to school!

    Hi there!!!

My son has come home with a maths crossword puzzle and we are stuck on the last question. Here it is -

A line draw between two virtices which are not next to each other?

We, or rather I would be so grateful for any help.

    Kind regards
    Kelly

How about some clues. What letters do you have?. How many letters?.

'diagonal' comes to mind right off. 'skew' may work. 'slope'.

    Just guessing.

Nice reply. 'Diagonal' works for me.

or segment if it connects them, or if it is a vertical line then parallel, or if it is at a 90 degree angle perpendicular, or if it is round circle ^_^

The wording is rather ambiguous, "between" doesn't describe much. Should give # of letters, so we can rule out incorrect possibilities, maybe age of your child and the course he is enrolled in so that we have an idea what he might be learning about.

Or, you could look through his book, it is rare that teachers give vocabulary homework that cannot be solved by skimming the book and noticing the bolded words.
