    help with this arithmetic question

    Question: if a and b are the first and last terms of an arithmetic series of r+2 terms, find the second and the (r+1)th term.


    really struggling with this question

    1st term = a

    last term = a+(n-1)d = b = (r+2)th term I managed to find the answer thanks I fought to equate r+2 term to the last term
