i am required to sketch graphs to the following situations.Unfortunately, i donot have answers therefore required your help.

1) You went to book a banquet for a birthday party.The manager told you that the charges will be fixed Rs.30,000 and 1500 per guest
2) All other conditions as above but the conditions apply after 100 guests
3) Mr. X uses CNG per km to travel to his office.The government has applied restriction and now only a car with atleast 2 passengers is allowed.Mr.x had to pay Rs 20 each to make 2 persons travel with him.Graph is required for both before and after travelling expense
4) In a country electric bill is charged as Rs 500 for 0 to 100 units and a discount of Rs.100 is offered after every 50 units

Did you intend to say that if you are not given the answers, you cannot do the problems? That is a very unfortunate thing to say.

If there were 100 guests, how would you calculate the charges? If there were "x" guests, how would you calculate the charges? Do you see that this is a linear function? Do you know how to graph a linear function? (A straight line is determined by 2 points.)

2) All other conditions as above but the conditions apply after 100 guests
So there must be at least 100 guests? This graph is exactly like the first one except that it is "cut off" and x= 100 and there is no graph between 0 and 100.

Isn't there a number missing here? I would guess that "CNG" is "compressed natural gas" but how much per km?

Graph of what "both before and after traveling expense"? You appear to have given only the traveling expenses.

Is this "every 50 units" after the first 100 units? If so, and the usage is x units, with x larger than 100, then there are x- 100 units more than 100. Further, you need to divide that 100- x into groups of 50. For example, if the usage were x= 430 units then the cost would be Rs 500 for the first 100 units leaving 330 "more than 100". There are 300/50= 6 sets of 50 units. "Rs 500 for 100 units" is an average of Rs 5 per unit so Rs 250 for 50 units. But there is a discount of Rs 100 leaving Rs 150 for every set of 50 units. Since there were 6 such sets, that is 6(150)= Rs 900. That leaves the last 30 units at Rs 5 per unit so 5(30)= Rs 150. That gives a total of 500+ 900+ 150= Rs 1550. You will have to generalize that for other numbers but you should see that the graph is "piecewise linear".

It is impossible to say more than that without knowing what you do know about these and what suggestions you would understand. Do you know how to graph constant or linear functions? Do you know what a "piecewise linear" function is?
