    I need help with this math problem..

    A planned building was going to be 100 feet long, 75 feet deep, and 30 feet high. The owner decides to increase the volume of the building by 10% without changing the dimensions of the depth and the height. What will be the new length of this building?

    What do i do here?

    Not a bad question:

    V=LWH

    V=100*75*30 \Rightarrow 225000

    110% of volume is: 1.1V = 247500

    We want to change only the length of the building so: 247500=75*30*L

    I think you can solve the last part.

    Increasing by 10% means multiplying something by 110% or 1.1.
