$2(3-n)=(-1)n-9$
Open parantheses watch those signs
$6-2n=-n-9$
Subtract 6 from both sides,
$-2n=-n-15$
Notice $-9-6=-15$ not $-9-6=3$.
Add $n$ to both sides,
$-n=-15$
Multiply both sides by -1 (the signs change)
$n=15$
