Please Tell Me The Correct Order Of Theses Numbers Starting With Smallest ? Part 1) 4.678, 4.67, 4.68
And Part2) 7.7, 7.8, 7.765
Thank You
if you have a number with fewer decimal places, assume that there are 0's after the number with fewer decimals then simply see which is the larger number. for example looking at what is larger between 2.7 and 2.689, write 2.7 as 2.700 then simply see that 700 is a larger number than 689 therefore 2.7 is larger
Order starting from each decimal place...
1)
10^0: 4, 4, 4
10^-1: 6, 6, 6
You need to goto the next decimal place to order these numbers
10^-2: 7, 7, 8
The third number is obviously the largest, but which one is bigger -- the 1st or 2nd?
10^-3: 8,0,0
The 1st number is the 2nd largest since 8>0 (.008 > .000)
Order smallest to largest is: 4.67, 4.678, 4.68
