
Sum Function help
Hi im a bit stuck on this.

I know the first term is 2, and i just have to cube it, but i was confused as i thought the 5 on the top means the sum up to the fifth term. If i do this, i get
:
$\displaystyle 2^3 + 3^3 + 4^3 + 5^3 + 6^3$
Which equals 440. However i checked the answer and it said 224, which is basicly what i did but without the $\displaystyle 6^3$ at the end. Anyway i was just wondering if the answer book is right, or if im right because there have been a few mistakes in the answer booklet so far.

That doesn't mean up to the 5th term, but up to series values of $\displaystyle k=5$, so you should have a sum of values for $\displaystyle k=2,3,4,5$ which is four terms.
