Surds Help needed ASAP
Hi im doing a past paper, and i was wondering how id do this surds question. Im not alowed to use a calculator.
Not sure how to use the equation tool btw so...

(Route 17) multiplied by (route 68)

Hi nugiboy!

$\sqrt{17} \times \sqrt{68}$

$=\sqrt{17} \times \sqrt{17 \times 4}$

$=(\sqrt{17} \times \sqrt{17} )\times \sqrt{4}$

$=17 \times 2$

$=34$
