# confusing problem

confusing problem
this problem's method is not listed in the book, and i cannot figure it out.
we're supposed to find out the (x,y) setup of it by plugging in X's, plugging in 1-5 and recording the results.
y=-3/4x+1

Do you mean
$y(1) = -\frac{3}{4} \cdot 1 + 1 = -\frac{3}{4} + 1 = \frac{1}{4}$

giving you the point
$\left ( 1, \frac{1}{4} \right )$
