1. ## TI83 graphing table help!

Im having a problem with my TI 83 and the way i set it up

I use the equation Y1=-.000234(30)^2+.01404(30) i press graph and it does the smallest parabola in the world, I need to be able to see it mroe properly, and the table always displays the Y as .2106 no matter what the X is, which must be wrong, considering .2106 is only supposed to be the maximum of the parabola. I try pressing zoom in and zoom out on graph but it wotn work and i have no idea how to work the "Window" setup and option, So can some one explain a way for me to see the graph and fix the table on my calc? Or maybe see if i messed up on the equation or something?o.0

Hi,

I hope this reply doesn't come too late:

Look at your equation: You don't have any x in it only constant values. Your calculator therefore draws a parallel to x-axis.

To type the variable x in the equation you have to use the $\boxed{x,T,\theta,n}$-key.
