    Help needed using calculator

    I am needing to work out how to use a calculator for the problem below.

    An applied force of 30 kn moves a load a distance of 10cm.

    Work Done = Force applied x distance
    (joules)

    The problem is not the calculator, it is the units.

    30~kN = 30 \times 1000~N <-- The symbol for the unit "Newtons" is capitolized.

    10~cm = 10 \times \frac{1}{100}~m

    So
    W = 30 \times 1000 \times 10 \times \frac{1}{100}~Nm
    is what?
