4/y+5 - 6/y-5= 12/y squared - 25
TKhunny did give you a good response.Colby can you help me with this problem, i didn't get a good response
$\displaystyle \frac{4}{y+5} - \frac{6}{y-5}= \frac{12}{y^2 - 25}$
The LCD is $\displaystyle y^2 - 25 = (y+5)(y-5)$
Multiply the entire equality by that, and you should have a quadratic to solve for.
