    Alg II factoring problem

    How would one go about factoring the binomial

    a^6 - b^3

    The only thing I can come up with is a^3 (a-b)(a^2+ab+b^2) , but this can't be right because you would have to distribute the a^3.

    Any ideas?

    Difference of two cubes:

    (a^{2})^{3}-(b)^{3}

    (a^{2}-b)(a^{4}+a^{2}b+b^{2})
