    Problem Using The Quadratic Equation

    I tried using the quadratic equation with this function 6(2x^2+6x+3), but my answer doesn't match the correct answer of x = -2.37, -0.63. Attached image contains my work. Maybe you can spot my error and tell me where I went wrong. Thanks!

    Re: Problem Using The Quadratic Equation

    \frac{-6\pm\sqrt{12}}{4} \ne \frac{-3\pm\sqrt{12}}{2}

    \frac{-6\pm2\sqrt{3}}{4} = \frac{-3\pm\sqrt{3}}{2}
    Thanks from asilvester635
