    equation with rational expression help please

    I'm trying to do some homework and the book doesn't really cover a lot in the examples and one problem is giving me trouble, if anyone could walk me through how to do it I would appreciate it.

    2/(1-x)-1/x=7/6

     \frac{2}{(1-x)}-\frac{1}{x}=\frac{7}{6}

    You want a rational solution?

    Multiply both sides by x(1-x)

    Actually, multiplying both sides by 6x(1 - x) is a bit nicer, as it clears all of the fractions.
