Can I get help finishing this logerithm?
I need to solve the equation.

$log_x\frac{1}{8}=3$

I come up with

$\frac{1}{8}=x^3$

I'm guessing you can reduce this even further, but I'm not sure how.

$\frac{1}{8}=x^3 ~\iff~ \left(\frac12\right)^3 =x^3~\iff~x=\frac12$

or:

$\frac{1}{8}=x^3~\iff~x=\sqrt[3]{\frac18} = \frac12$
