please teach me to clear out decimals

I'm solving equations, but I'm asked to first of all clear out any decimals, and I can't figure out how to do it. should I multiply by 10?
    for example

    0.15g - 0.35h = -0.5
    -0.12g + 0.25h = 0.1

    thank you.

you have two decimal places in the terms on the right, therefore you should multiply by 100. this will move all decimal points two places to the right
