Solve by the method of your choice.

x^2+y^2=50
(x-7)^2+y^2=1

I got; {(7,1), (7,-1),(-7,1),(-7,-1)}

x^2+y^2=29
-8x+y^2=41

I got: {(-2,5),(-2.-5)}

you know, you could check your solutions by plugging into the original system. you would have immediately realize that (-7,-1) and (-7,1) do not work in the second equation, so those solutions are wrong

what did you do?
what is $(-7 - 7)^2 + ( \pm 1)^2$?
