Hello,
I was wondering whether someone could give me a heads up on this one. I need to rearrange this in terms of x, so this can be plotted on the x and y axis. See attachment. Both Q 13 and 14 would be good or just one....they are similar

for (13) you can solve for h in your second equation to get $\displaystyle h=10-\frac{r}{3}$ and then plug that into the formula for volume

$\displaystyle V=\pi r^2(10-\frac{r}{3})$

you can go to wolframalpha.com and type in

Plot[Pi r^2(10-r/3),{r,0,31}] and play with the range of r to find your maximum.

do the same thing for (14), just solve for y, $\displaystyle y=\frac{100}{x}$ and plug that into the other equation.
and plot it similar to above.
