Need help with this problem
On a certain day, 25% of the people at a park were women. The number of men, boys and girls at the same park were in the ratio 8:5:2 respectively. If there were 54 more adults than children, how many people were at the park that day ?

let us say there were 100 people in park, out of these 25 were women and 75 rest, that is men , boys and girls. ratio 8:5:2 so we divide 75 in this ratio and we get 40 men, 25 boys and 10 girls. boys + girls = 35 so we have 5 men more that number of children.
When there are 5 men more than children we have people in park = 100
When there are 1 men more than children we have people in park = 100/ 5 = 20
When there are 54 men more than children we have people in park = 54 * 20 = 1080
We can also get the result by assuming that there were x people in the park initially. That you can try.
