    Can comeone please help me?



    How do I do this?

    show that 2x^2+6>4x+1 for all values of x?

    But...Your equation forms complex answer as b^2 - 4ac = -ve


    2x^2 - 4x + 5 > 0
    \therefore x>1+1.224744871i or x<1-1.224744871i
