Solving Equation for X
Currently, I am enrolled in a Mathematics course for business, economics, life sciences, and social sciences. I believe this problem would be considered algebra though. Anyways, I am completely stuck on how to go about solving this problem. Can anyone assist me?

Solve the Equation for X

96x-x^2=98

Do I need to use the quadratic formula for the (6x-x2) part? If so I did that and found the two numbers 0 , 3. But where would I go from here?

Just solve $6x-x^2=8$

Ah! Thank you. I was keeping out the '=8' part, which was why I kept getting the wrong answer. Thank you!
