Math Help - two variables help

    two variables help

    (5*t)-3((7/8)+(1/8))t=48.8

    the only thing i was able to come up with is t = 24.4 but this did not seem correct
    any help

    Well, to check if you have the correct answer you can always put the value of t back into your equation and see that it is correct.
