    equation two varables

    Hi,
    Equation - two variables
    I have an equation ax^2 + by^2 + cxy > 0.
What are the constraints for x and y that they satisfy the inequality ?
    Thanks for any response

Hint: The RHS represents an ellipse rotated about the origin. Can you put it in this form?
