    Maths simple problem

    Without using a calculator:
A basketball stadium has 12693 seats.
During a season a basketball team played 24 matches and every seat was sold for each match.
At each match a seat costs Rs565.

By writing each value correct to 1 significant figure, estimate the total amount of money paid to watch these matches during the season.

    Re: Maths simple problem

Do you not understand what these words mean? "Writing each value correct to 1 significant figure" gives you 10000 seats, 20 matches and Rs 600. You should be able to multiply those in your head!
