# Math Help - Rationalizing denominator

1. ## Rationalizing denominator

I just need to understand how rationalized $\frac{2}{\sqrt{2\pi}}$ to get $\sqrt{\frac{2}{\pi}}$

When I rationalized, I just multiplied by $\frac{\sqrt{2\pi}}{\sqrt{2\pi}}$ and got $\frac{\sqrt{2\pi}}{\pi}$

2. ## Re: Rationalizing denominator

Hey downthesun01.

Hint: 2 = SQRT(2)*SQRT(2) and SQRT(2*pi) = SQRT(2)*SQRT(pi).

3. ## Re: Rationalizing denominator

The result does not have a rational denominator. It is just a simplification.
