need help with another inequality question!

The question goes like this:

The inequality ax^2 - 3x + c > x - 2 has solution set. {x E R : -3 < x < 1}

Find the values of a and c. Thank you very much! The solutions are a = - 2 and c= 4

I tried bringing the RHS over to the LHS and creating a new equation.

How should I do this question?

It is easy. get the ineqality ax^2-3x+c>x-2 and treat it as equation........ax^2-3x+c=x-2.. then substitute x -3 and then as x=1 and get a system of two simultaneous equations for a and c

solve it and you will get the answer.......as simple as such.
